- Hoosick Falls is a village in Rensselaer County, New York, United States. The population was 3,501 at the 2010 census. During its peak in the 19th century, the village was an industrial center and was known for its textile manufacturing. Today, it is primarily a residential community.

- Hoosick Falls is located in the town of Hoosick and is near the southeastern corner of Rensselaer County. The Hoosic River, from which the village and town derive their name, flows through the village.

- The village was incorporated in 1827, and grew rapidly as a mill town, due to its location on the Hoosic River. The village was known for the manufacture of paper, lumber, and textiles.
