Hulk is a 2003 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Hulk. The film was directed by Ang Lee and stars Eric Bana as Bruce Banner, Jennifer Connelly as Betty Ross, Sam Elliott as Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, Josh Lucas as Glenn Talbot, and Nick Nolte as David Banner.

The story follows Bruce Banner, a geneticist who, after a lab accident involving gamma radiation, transforms into a giant green-skinned creature known as the Hulk whenever he experiences extreme emotional stress. As Bruce struggles to control his transformations, he must also confront his estranged father, David Banner, who has his own dark agenda.

Although Hulk did not receive a direct sequel, the character was rebooted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with The Incredible Hulk in 2008, starring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner.
