Hyde Park, New York
Hyde Park, New York is a town located in Dutchess County, in the U.S. state of New York. It is situated along the eastern bank of the Hudson River, approximately 90 miles north of New York City and 70 miles south of Albany. The town is known for its rich history, scenic beauty, and as the birthplace of the 32nd President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Hyde Park was originally settled in the early 18th century. The town was officially established in 1821, and it was named after Hyde Park in London. The area became a popular location for wealthy families to build grand estates along the Hudson River during the 19th century.

Hyde Park covers a total area of 39.8 square miles, of which 37.9 square miles is land and 1.9 square miles is water. The town is bordered by the Hudson River to the west, the town of Rhinebeck to the north, the town of Clinton to the east, and the town of Poughkeepsie to the south.

As of the 2020 census, Hyde Park had a population of approximately 21,000 residents. The town has a diverse population with a mix of urban and rural characteristics.
