IGRT

IGRT or Image-Guided Radiation Therapy is a type of radiation therapy that uses imaging techniques to deliver precise radiation doses to a malignant tumor or specific areas within the tumor. The process involves the use of two-dimensional, three-dimensional and four-dimensional imaging to direct radiation therapy utilizing the imaging coordinates of the actual radiation treatment plan.
