Island of the Dead is a 1955 American horror film directed by Mark Robson and produced by Val Lewton. The film stars Boris Karloff and Ellen Drew in lead roles. It was written by Ardel Wray and features music by Leigh Harline. The cinematography was done by Jack MacKenzie and editing by Lloyd Nosler. The film was released by RKO Radio Pictures on August 19, 1955.
