Isle of Palms, South Carolina is a city in Charleston County, South Carolina, United States. It is situated on a barrier island of the same name along the South Carolina coast. The city is part of the Charleston-North Charleston-Summerville metropolitan area.

The Isle of Palms has a rich history dating back to the Sewee people, who were the original inhabitants of the island. European settlers arrived in the late 17th century, and the island was used primarily for farming and as a hunting ground. In the early 20th century, the island began to develop as a resort destination.

. It is bordered by Sullivan's Island to the southwest and the Intracoastal Waterway to the northwest. The island is approximately 7 miles long and 1 mile wide.
