- Jackson is a charming town located in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, United States. The town is named after Andrew Jackson following his victory over the British at New Orleans at the end of the War of 1812. Jackson is part of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area, and its history is richly woven with the history of the Felicianas.

- Jackson was founded in 1815 as the seat of justice for Feliciana Parish before the parish was divided into East and West. The town was a major commercial hub and a center of law and culture in the 19th century.

- Jackson is located on the western edge of East Feliciana Parish at the junction of Louisiana Highways 10 and 68. Comprising 4.5 square miles, the town is approximately 30 miles north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana's capital city.
