Jimmy Michael
Jimmy Michael (18 August 1877 – 21 November 1904) was a Welsh track cyclist who achieved significant success in the late 19th century. He was known for his exceptional endurance and speed, which earned him numerous titles and records during his career.

Jimmy Michael was born in Aberaman, Wales. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in cycling and began competing in local races. His talent quickly became apparent, and he soon moved on to compete in national and international events.

Michael's professional career took off in the mid-1890s. He became known for his prowess in long-distance races and was particularly successful in six-day races. In 1895, he won the prestigious Bordeaux–Paris race, which solidified his reputation as one of the top cyclists of his time.
