John Birchard Rice




John Blake Rice (June 23, 1809 – December 17, 1886) was an American actor and politician who served as the Mayor of Chicago from 1865 to 1869. He was a member of the Republican Party.

John B. Rice was born in Easton, Maryland, on June 23, 1809. He pursued a career in acting and became a prominent figure in the theater community.
