John Boozman (born December 10, 1950) is an American politician and optometrist who has served as the senior United States Senator from Arkansas since 2011. A member of the Republican Party, Boozman was the U.S. Representative for Arkansas's 3rd congressional district from 2001 to 2011.

John Boozman was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and moved to Arkansas with his family during his youth. He graduated from Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he played football for the Arkansas Razorbacks. After completing his undergraduate studies, Boozman pursued a degree in Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, eventually returning to Arkansas to establish his practice.
