John Browett

John Browett is a British businessman known for his executive roles in several major retail companies. He has served as the CEO of Dixons Retail, the Senior Vice President of Retail at Apple Inc., and the CEO of Monsoon Accessorize.

Browett was born in the United Kingdom. He attended the University of Cambridge, where he studied Natural Sciences. He later earned an MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, one of the top business schools in the United States.

Dixons Retail[edit | edit source]

Browett's first major executive role was as the CEO of Dixons Retail, a major British multinational retail and services company. During his tenure, he was credited with improving the company's customer service and overall performance.

Apple Inc.[edit | edit source]

In 2012, Browett joined Apple Inc. as the Senior Vice President of Retail. His appointment was part of a broader effort by Apple to improve its retail operations. However, his tenure at Apple was short-lived, and he left the company later that year.

Monsoon Accessorize[edit | edit source]

After leaving Apple, Browett became the CEO of Monsoon Accessorize, a British fashion retailer. He led the company through a period of significant change, including a major restructuring effort.

Personal life[edit | edit source]

Browett is married and has two children. He is known for his philanthropy, particularly in the area of education.
