John Hartwell Marable
John Hartwell Marable (November 18, 1786 – April 11, 1844) was an American physician and politician who served as a U.S. Representative from Tennessee.

Marable was born in Lawrenceville, Virginia, on November 18, 1786. He pursued classical studies and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1805. After completing his education, he began practicing medicine in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Marable was a prominent physician in Tennessee. He was known for his contributions to the medical field and his dedication to the health and well-being of his community. His medical practice was highly regarded, and he played a significant role in the development of medical services in the region.

Marable entered politics as a member of the Democratic-Republican Party. He was elected to the Nineteenth Congress and served from March 4, 1825, to March 3, 1827. Marable married Mary Ann Claiborne, and they had several children. He passed away on April 11, 1844, in Montgomery County, Tennessee, and was buried in the family cemetery.
