Kapchorwa General Hospital

Kapchorwa General Hospital is a public hospital located in Kapchorwa, a town in the Eastern Region of Uganda. The hospital is administered by the Uganda Ministry of Health and is one of the major health facilities in the country.

The hospital is situated in the town of Kapchorwa, approximately 65 kilometers, by road, northeast of Mbale, the largest city in the Eastern Region of Uganda. The geographical coordinates of Kapchorwa General Hospital are: 01°23'56.0"N, 34°26'57.0"E.

Kapchorwa General Hospital is a public hospital, funded by the government of Uganda. It is one of the general hospitals in Uganda, which provide healthcare to the surrounding community on an outpatient and inpatient basis. The hospital is classified as a general hospital by the Uganda Ministry of Health, meaning it provides both general medical services and surgical procedures.

The hospital offers a range of services including general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. It also provides HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, Malaria prevention and treatment, and Tuberculosis control.
