Karol Marcinkowski (23 June 1800 – 6 November 1846) was a prominent Polish physician, social activist, and philanthropist. He is best known for his contributions to the field of medicine and his efforts to improve the social and educational conditions in Poland during the 19th century.

Karol Marcinkowski was born in Poznań, which was then part of the Duchy of Warsaw. He came from a modest family background.
