Katrin Kallsberg

Katrin Kallsberg (born 30 July 1967) is a Faroese physician and politician. She is a member of the Republic party and has served as a member of the Løgting since 2015.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Kallsberg was born in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. She completed her primary and secondary education in Tórshavn before pursuing higher education in medicine. Kallsberg graduated from the University of Copenhagen with a degree in medicine.

Medical Career[edit | edit source]

After completing her medical degree, Kallsberg returned to the Faroe Islands, where she worked as a general practitioner. She has been involved in various healthcare initiatives and has been an advocate for improving the healthcare system in the Faroe Islands.

Political Career[edit | edit source]

Kallsberg entered politics as a member of the Republic party. She was elected to the Løgting in the 2015 elections. During her tenure, she has focused on healthcare, social issues, and education. Kallsberg has been a vocal advocate for women's rights and has worked towards implementing policies that support gender equality.
