Kedem
Kedem is a company based in the United States that specializes in the production and distribution of kosher food products. The company was established in the mid-20th century and has since grown to become one of the leading providers of kosher foods in the U.S. and abroad.
History[edit | edit source]
Kedem was founded in 1948 by Harold Weiss and his father-in-law, Joseph Herzog. The company started as a small wine operation in New York City, but quickly expanded to include a wide range of kosher food products. Today, Kedem is a part of the larger Royal Wine Corporation, which is still owned and operated by the Herzog family.
Products[edit | edit source]
Kedem's product line includes a wide variety of kosher foods, such as wine, grape juice, matzo, soup mixes, and baked goods. The company is perhaps best known for its kosher wines, which are produced in accordance with strict Jewish dietary laws. Kedem's wines are made from a variety of grape types and come in both sweet and dry varieties.
Distribution[edit | edit source]
Kedem distributes its products through a network of retailers in the United States and abroad. The company's products can be found in many major grocery chains, as well as in specialty kosher food stores. In addition to its physical distribution network, Kedem also sells its products online through its website and other online retailers.
