Keith Duffy (born 1 October 1974) is an Irish singer, actor, and television presenter. He is best known as a member of the boy band Boyzone and for his role as Ciaran McCarthy in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street.

Keith Duffy was born in Dublin, Ireland. He attended Coláiste Éanna in Ballyroan, Rathfarnham. From a young age, Duffy showed an interest in music and performance, which led him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Boyzone[edit | edit source]

In 1993, Duffy joined the boy band Boyzone, which was formed by Louis Walsh. The group achieved significant success in the 1990s with hits such as "No Matter What" and "Love Me for a Reason". Boyzone became one of the most successful bands in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

After Boyzone initially disbanded in 2000, Duffy transitioned into acting.
