Kidney International
Kidney International (KI) is a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal covering nephrology. It is the official journal of the International Society of Nephrology and is published by Elsevier. The journal publishes original research and reviews on all aspects of the science and practice of nephrology, as well as related molecular genetics, pathophysiology, and epidemiology.

Kidney International was established in 1972. The founding editor-in-chief was Robert W. Schrier. The journal has since been led by several prominent nephrologists and has grown to become one of the leading journals in the field.
