Laxman Narasimhan

Laxman Narasimhan is a prominent business executive known for his leadership roles in various multinational companies. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Reckitt Benckiser Group, a British multinational consumer goods company.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Narasimhan was born and raised in India. He completed his undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. He later moved to the United States to pursue his Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University. He also holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Career[edit | edit source]

Narasimhan began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he worked for 19 years. During his tenure at McKinsey, he held various leadership roles, including Director of McKinsey's Global Knowledge and Analytics teams.

In 2010, Narasimhan joined PepsiCo as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of its Latin America, Africa, and Europe Sub-Saharan Africa sectors. He was later promoted to the role of CEO of the company's Latin America division.

In 2019, Narasimhan was appointed as the CEO of Reckitt Benckiser Group. Under his leadership, the company has seen significant growth and expansion.

Narasimhan is known for his commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. He is a strong advocate for gender equality and has been recognized for his efforts to promote diversity within his teams.
