Seoul Dishes refers to the variety of food and beverages that originated from or are popular in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. These dishes are characterized by their unique flavors, preparation methods, and ingredients, many of which are specific to the region.

Traditional Seoul Dishes[edit | edit source]

Kimchi is a staple in Korean cuisine, and it is particularly popular in Seoul. It is a fermented vegetable dish, often made with cabbage and radishes, and seasoned with chili pepper, garlic, ginger, and jeotgal (salted seafood).

Bingsu is a popular dessert in Seoul, especially during the summer months. It is a shaved ice dish that is typically topped with sweetened condensed milk, fruit, and red beans.

Tteokbokki is a popular street food in Seoul. It is a spicy rice cake dish that is often served with fish cakes and boiled eggs.
