List of Sri Lankan sweets and desserts is a compilation of the various types of sweets and desserts that originate from Sri Lanka. Sweets[edit | edit source]
Kavum is a traditional Sri Lankan sweet made from rice flour and treacle, and deep-fried to a golden brown. It is most commonly made for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Mung Kavum is a variation of Kavum that is made with green gram (mung bean) flour. It is also a popular sweet during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Aasmi is a sweet dish made from rice flour, with a hint of lime and a sweet syrup made from coconut milk. It is often garnished with a touch of saffron for added flavor and color.
