Fin Fang Foom[edit | edit source]
Fin Fang Foom is a giant alien dragon who first appeared in Strange Tales #89 (October 1961). Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Fin Fang Foom is one of the most recognizable monsters in Marvel Comics. He has clashed with numerous heroes, including Iron Man and the Fantastic Four.
Man-Thing[edit | edit source]
The Man-Thing is a swamp creature who first appeared in Savage Tales #1 (May 1971). Created by Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway, and Gray Morrow, Man-Thing is the guardian of the Nexus of All Realities. He is known for his ability to burn those who feel fear.
Werewolf by Night[edit | edit source]
Werewolf by Night is the name of two fictional characters who are werewolves. The first, Jack Russell, debuted in Marvel Spotlight #2 (February 1972). The second, Jake Gomez, debuted in Werewolf by Night #1 (October 2020). Both characters struggle with their lycanthropy and have been involved in various supernatural storylines.
Morbius, the Living Vampire[edit | edit source]
Morbius, the Living Vampire is a character who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #101 (October 1971). Created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, Morbius is a scientist who transforms into a vampire-like creature after a failed experiment. He has been both an adversary and ally to Spider-Man.
Dracula[edit | edit source]
Dracula is based on the character from Bram Stoker's novel Dracula. He first appeared in The Tomb of Dracula #1 (April 1972). In the Marvel Universe, Dracula is the lord of all vampires and has faced off against heroes such as Blade and Doctor Strange.
The Lizard[edit | edit source]
The Lizard is the alter ego of Dr. Curt Connors, a scientist who transforms into a reptilian monster. He first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #6 (November 1963). The Lizard is one of Spider-Man's most enduring foes.
Wendigo[edit | edit source]
Wendigo is a mythical creature based on the Algonquian legend. The Wendigo first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #162 (April 1973). The curse of the Wendigo transforms humans into cannibalistic monsters, and it has been a recurring threat in the Marvel Universe.
