At its peak, Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon operated over 265 locations. The chain was publicly traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "STAR."
In the early 2000s, the chain began to face financial difficulties, leading to the closure of several locations. By 2017, the company had closed all of its remaining restaurants.
