The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles. LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States, attracting nearly a million visitors annually. It holds more than 150,000 works spanning the history of art from ancient times to the present.

LACMA was established as a separate, art-focused institution in 1961, having previously been part of the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art. The museum's current location opened to the public in 1965, with a campus designed by architect William Pereira. Over the years, LACMA has expanded its facilities and collections, including the addition of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum (BCAM) in 2008 and the Resnick Pavilion in 2010.
