Lou Leabengula Myers (September 26, 1935 – February 19, 2013) was an American actor, best known for his role as Vernon Gaines on the television series A Different World. Born in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, Myers began his acting career in the late 1970s and appeared in numerous films and television shows.
