Louis Schweitzer (born 8 July 1942) is a prominent French businessman known for his tenure as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Renault, a major French automobile manufacturer. Schweitzer played a significant role in the transformation and globalization of Renault during the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Louis Schweitzer was born in Geneva, Switzerland, into a family with a strong intellectual and professional background. He pursued his higher education at the prestigious École Nationale d'Administration (ENA), a breeding ground for many of France's top civil servants and business leaders.
