Loveland is a city located in Larimer County, Colorado, United States. It is known as the "Gateway to the Rockies" due to its proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park. With a population of 77,446 as of 2020, Loveland is the second most populous city in Larimer County.

Loveland was established in 1877 as a small agricultural community. It was named after William A.H. Loveland, the president of the Colorado Central Railroad. The city experienced rapid growth in the early 20th century, thanks to the expansion of the railroad and the establishment of several industries, including sugar beet farming and manufacturing.
