Lower Gwynedd Township ( /ˈɡwɪnɛd/ Welsh pronunciation: [ˈɡwɪnɛð]) is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 11,405 at the 2010 census. The township comprises four villages: Gwynedd, Gwynedd Valley, Penllyn, and Spring House. While its postal address is in Ambler, Pennsylvania (19002), it is separate from the Borough of Ambler. Lower Gwynedd Township was founded in 1698.
