Lucbardez-et-Bargues
Lucbardez-et-Bargues is a commune located in the Landes department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France. It is part of the Arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and the Canton of Adour Armagnac.

Lucbardez-et-Bargues is situated in the Armagnac region, known for its historical and cultural significance. The commune is surrounded by the communes of Bougue, Mazerolles, and Saint-Avit. The Midouze river flows through the commune.

The commune was established in 1822 by the merger of the former communes of Lucbardez and Bargues. The area has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, with several historical monuments and buildings still standing today.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
As of the latest census, the commune has a population of approximately 200 residents. The population density is relatively low, with about 15 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The local economy is primarily based on agriculture, with a focus on the production of Armagnac brandy, foie gras, and corn.

Lucbardez-et-Bargues is home to several historical monuments, including the Church of Saint-Pierre, a Romanesque church dating back to the 12th century. The commune also hosts an annual festival, known as the Fête de la Saint-Pierre, which celebrates the local culture and heritage.
