M. S. Banga is a prominent businessman and corporate executive known for his significant contributions to the global business landscape. He has held high-ranking positions in several multinational companies, including Unilever, where he served as the President of the Foods, Home and Personal Care sectors.

Banga was born and raised in India. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, one of the most prestigious commerce colleges in India. He then went on to earn his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, a leading business school in India.
Career[edit | edit source]
Banga began his career at Unilever, a British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company. He held various positions within the company, eventually rising to the rank of President of the Foods, Home and Personal Care sectors. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the company's global operations in these sectors.
After leaving Unilever, Banga joined Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a private equity firm, as a Senior Advisor. He also serves on the boards of several other companies, including Marks & Spencer and The Economist Group.

Banga is married and has two children. He is known for his philanthropic activities, particularly in the field of education. He is a trustee of the Indian School of Business, and has made significant contributions to the institution.
