Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital

Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital is a community hospital located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Mackenzie Health system, which also includes Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and several community-based services.

The hospital was originally known as York Central Hospital, which was established in 1963. In 2015, it was renamed Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital after Mackenzie Health was formed.

Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital provides a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency, intensive care, surgery, maternity care, paediatrics, mental health services, and diagnostic imaging. The hospital also offers specialized programs such as the Regional Cardiac Care Program and the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Care Centre.

The hospital has 250 beds and a 24-hour emergency department. It also features a state-of-the-art CT scanner, MRI, and Digital Mammography.

Future Developments[edit | edit source]

Mackenzie Health has plans to expand the Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital with the construction of a new patient tower. This expansion will increase the hospital's capacity and allow it to offer more services to the community.
