Madras Veterinary College
Madras Veterinary College is a premier institution for veterinary science and animal husbandry education located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Madras Veterinary College was founded in 1903 by Colonel John Edwardes Steel, a British veterinary surgeon and officer in the Indian Army. The college was initially established to meet the demand for trained veterinarians in the Madras Presidency.
