Maldwyn Leslie Williams (1885 – 1962) was a Welsh-born Australian rugby union player and medical doctor. He was known for his contributions to both sports and medicine in Australia.

Maldwyn Leslie Williams was born in 1885 in Wales. He moved to Australia with his family during his childhood. Williams pursued his education at the University of Melbourne, where he studied medicine. During his time at the university, he also developed a keen interest in rugby union.
Rugby Union Career[edit | edit source]
Williams was an accomplished rugby union player, representing the University of Melbourne in various competitions. He played as a forward and was known for his athleticism and strategic understanding of the game.
In 1908, Williams was selected to be part of the Australian national rugby union team, known as the Wallabies.
