Manila Central University (MCU) is a private, non-sectarian educational institution located in Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is one of the oldest universities in the country, known for its programs in health sciences, particularly in pharmacy and dentistry.

Manila Central University was originally established as the Escuela de Farmacia del Liceo de Manila in 1904 by Dr. Alejandro M. Albert. It was the first school of pharmacy run by Filipinos. In 1915, it was renamed the Manila College of Pharmacy.
In 1929, the institution expanded its academic offerings and became the Manila College of Pharmacy and Dentistry. By 1945, it had evolved into a university, adopting the name Manila Central University.
