Mariza
Mariza (born Marisa dos Reis Nunes; 16 December 1973) is a Portuguese fado singer. She is widely recognized as one of the most prominent contemporary fado artists and has played a significant role in the internationalization of fado music.

Mariza was born in Lourenço Marques, Mozambique, to a Portuguese father and a Mozambican mother. At the age of three, her family moved to Lisbon, Portugal, where she grew up in the historic neighborhood of Mouraria, known for its strong connection to fado music.
