Mark Sauer
Mark Sauer is an American reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist known for his pioneering work in the field of assisted reproductive technology (ART). He has made significant contributions to the development and advancement of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other fertility treatments.

Mark Sauer was born in the United States. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University and went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Following his medical degree, he completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System. He further specialized in reproductive endocrinology and infertility through a fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Dr. Sauer began his career as a faculty member at UCLA, where he was involved in early research and clinical applications of IVF. He later joined the faculty at Columbia University Medical Center, where he served as the Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. During his tenure at Columbia, he established one of the leading IVF programs in the United States.
Dr. Sauer is currently a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and serves as the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
