Marseille is the second-largest city in France and the largest city on the Mediterranean coast. It is located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and is the capital of the Bouches-du-Rhône department.

Marseille was founded by the Greeks in 600 BC and is one of the oldest cities in Europe. The city has a rich history and has been a major center for trade and immigration since its establishment.
