Mary Matilyn Mouser (born May 9, 1996) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Samantha LaRusso in the Netflix series Cobra Kai, a sequel to the original The Karate Kid films.
Early life[edit | edit source]
Mary Mouser was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She began her acting career at a young age, starting as a photo double in the film Signs at the age of five.
Career[edit | edit source]
Mouser's early career included voice work and guest appearances on various television series. She provided the voice for Eloise in the animated series Me, Eloise. She also had guest roles on shows such as Without a Trace, Scrubs, and One Life to Live.
In 2010, Mouser was cast as Lacey Fleming on the ABC series Body of Proof, where she played the daughter of Dana Delany's character, Dr. Megan Hunt. This role brought her significant recognition and showcased her acting abilities.
In 2018, Mouser gained widespread fame for her role as Samantha LaRusso in Cobra Kai, which continues the story of The Karate Kid films. The series was initially released on YouTube Premium before moving to Netflix, where it gained a larger audience.
