McAlister's Deli is an American chain of fast casual restaurants founded in 1989 in Oxford, Mississippi. The restaurant chain is known for its sandwiches, spuds, soups, salads, desserts, and its famous sweet tea. McAlister's Deli operates over 450 locations in 28 states across the United States.

McAlister's Deli was founded by Dr. Don Newcomb, a retired dentist, in 1989. The first restaurant was opened in a renovated gas station in Oxford, Mississippi. The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to the opening of additional locations. In 1999, the chain was sold to Sundown Restaurants, Inc., which later sold it to Roark Capital Group in 2005. In 2013, McAlister's Deli became part of the Focus Brands portfolio.
