Meituan-Dianping
Meituan-Dianping is a Chinese technology company that provides a range of services including food delivery, consumer products and retail services, travel and entertainment bookings, and other online services. The company was formed in 2015 through a merger of Meituan and Dianping, two of China's largest group buying and local reviews sites.

Meituan was founded in 2010 by Wang Xing, a Chinese entrepreneur known for creating several successful internet companies. Dianping, founded in 2003 by Zhang Tao, was one of the first websites in China to provide user reviews of local businesses.
In 2015, Meituan and Dianping merged to form Meituan-Dianping, creating one of the largest online and on-demand delivery platforms in the world. The merger was seen as a significant event in China's internet industry, as it brought together two of the country's biggest internet companies.
