Mid-Somerset Show
Mid-Somerset Show is an annual one-day agricultural show held in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England. The show has been running since 1856 and is the largest free agricultural show in the South West of England. It is organised by the Mid-Somerset Agricultural Society and takes place on the third Sunday in August.

The first Mid-Somerset Show was held in 1856, making it one of the oldest agricultural shows in the UK. The show was originally held in the market town of Shepton Mallet, but moved to a larger site on the outskirts of the town in the late 20th century to accommodate its growing popularity.
Events[edit | edit source]
The Mid-Somerset Show features a wide range of events and attractions, including livestock competitions, horse and dog shows, and a large horticultural marquee. There are also numerous trade stands selling everything from farm machinery to local food and drink. The show is particularly well-known for its cheese and cider competitions, which attract entries from across the South West.
