Minden, Ontario is a small town located in the Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada. It is the county seat of Haliburton County and is situated on the Gull River, which is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway, a significant canal route traversing Central Ontario.

Minden was first established in 1859 as Gull River. It was later renamed after Minden, Germany, the birthplace of a high-ranking British officer of the time. The town was incorporated in 1879.
