Momo Kapor
Momo Kapor (8 April 1937 – 3 March 2010) was a Serbian novelist, painter, and journalist. He was a prominent figure in Serbian literature and art, known for his unique narrative style and vivid depictions of Belgrade life.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Momo Kapor was born in Sarajevo, which was then part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He spent his early years in Sarajevo before moving to Belgrade where he completed his education. Kapor graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Fine Arts, where he studied painting.

Kapor's literary career began in the 1960s. He wrote numerous novels, short stories, and essays, many of which have been translated into several languages.
