Monique Kalkman-Van Den Bosch

Monique Kalkman-Van Den Bosch is a former Dutch Paralympic athlete who excelled in the sport of wheelchair tennis. She was born on September 16, 1964, in Gouda, Netherlands.

Kalkman-Van Den Bosch began her sporting career as a competitive swimmer before a car accident in 1987 left her paralyzed from the waist down. Following her accident, she transitioned to wheelchair tennis and quickly rose to prominence in the sport.
