The Monkey-man of Delhi refers to a series of reported incidents in May 2001 in Delhi, India, involving sightings of a mysterious creature described as part human and part monkey. The sightings sparked widespread panic and fear among the local population.

Eyewitnesses claimed that the Monkey-man was about 4 feet tall, had a hairy body, and glowing red eyes. Some reports suggested that it had metal claws and emitted a high-pitched noise. The creature was said to be extremely agile and capable of leaping from building to building.

The first reported sighting of the Monkey-man occurred in the neighborhood of Dwarka on May 13, 2001. Over the following weeks, similar sightings were reported in various parts of Delhi, leading to a wave of hysteria.
