Moose Jaw is a city in south-central Saskatchewan, Canada. This city is situated on the Moose Jaw River and is best known for its rich history and cultural significance.

Moose Jaw's history dates back to 1881 when the first settlers arrived. The city was officially incorporated in 1903. The name "Moose Jaw" is believed to be derived from the Cree name moosegaw, meaning "warm breezes".

Moose Jaw is located on the Moose Jaw River, in the Palliser's Triangle, a semi-arid prairie region of Saskatchewan. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Moose Jaw No. 161.
