The college is known for its distinctive modernist architecture, designed by Eero Saarinen, and its vibrant community life.
History[edit | edit source]
Morse College was founded in 1961 as part of Yale's expansion of its residential college system. The college was named in honor of Samuel F. B. Morse, a Yale alumnus who graduated in 1810.
