Mountain Home, North Carolina
- Mountain Home is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Henderson County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 3,622 at the 2010 census, up from 2,169 in 2000. It is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Mountain Home is located in northeastern Henderson County, at (35.374214, -82.513351). It is bordered to the north by the city of Hendersonville, the county seat, and to the east by unincorporated Fletcher. U.S. Route 25 passes through the center of the community, leading north 4 miles (6 km) to the center of Hendersonville and south 16 miles (26 km) to Greenville, South Carolina.
