- Mountain View is a small town located in the Hawaii County, Hawaii, United States. It is part of the Hilo Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,924 at the 2010 census. Mountain View is located on the Big Island of Hawaii and is known for its lush greenery and rural setting.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Mountain View is located on the east side of the Island of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. It is situated at an elevation of 1,998 feet above sea level. The town is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, and it is near both the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation, one of the world's leading producers of macadamia nuts.
