NACCHO
NACCHO (National Association of County and City Health Officials) is a national organization in the United States that represents the nation's nearly 3,000 local governmental health departments. These departments work every day to protect and promote health and well-being for all people in their communities.

NACCHO was established in 1965 as a professional association for local health departments. The organization's mission is to improve the health of communities by strengthening and advocating for local health departments.

NACCHO plays a critical role in supporting the work of local health departments across the United States.
